This tablet PC with a generous 10.4-inch screen was developed especially for harsh environmental conditions and physical stress. With shock-absorbing bumpers and a sturdy magnesium housing, the Algiz 10 has an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water, and it meets rigorous MIL-STD-810F military standards for shock, vibration and moisture. It also handles extreme temperatures, from -20 to 60 °C.
The Algiz 10 delivers maximum mobile performance for on-the-go professionals. Its compact size, light weight and ergonomic design make it easy to handle, and it has multiple integrated wireless technologies to facilitate communication in the field. It has built-in 802.11 a/b/g, Class II Bluetooth and optional EDGE/GPRS, making it compatible with any wireless network, and it's designed to easily connect to peripheral devices.
This tablet's powerful performance comes from a 1.2 GHz Intel Core Duo Yonah ULV Processor, an 80 GB shock-mounted hard drive and 1 or 2 GB RAM. The Windows XP Tablet PC SP2 Edition operating system runs all the applications PC users rely on, including Calendar, E-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A nine-cell (7800 mAh) Li-ion battery runs up to seven hours.
The Algiz 10's rugged construction makes it possible to increase employee mobility and productivity beyond the office, and it works well even in highly demanding environments. These capabilities make it ideal for industries such as insurance, field service, logistics, railways, telecommunication, energy, public safety, law enforcement, military, homeland security and warehousing.
